Cyclops Is A Little Embarrassed By His Brother Havok

There’s been much discussion over the last two days about Havok’s now infamous speech in this week’s Uncanny Avengers #5. It was a sore point for many, and we posted our thoughts on it earlier today. A few folks beat us to addressing the issue, however, including Stephanie Lantry, who created this fantastic image. An homage/play on the popular Batman slapping Robin meme, it perfectly sums up the way a lot of people feel about Havok’s speech, while also reminding everyone, once again, that Cyclops was right.

In advance of Brian Michael Bendis and Steve McNiven’s new Guardians of the Galaxy title debuting later this month, Marvel Comics has launched a short series of prologues spotlighting each member of the spacefaring superteam. Written by Bendis and drawn by his longtime Powers and Takio collaborator Michael Avon Oeming, these four bi-weekly shorts will be available for free via the Marvel Comics app andComiXology starting today, and were created for Marvel’s Infinite Comics brand, which deals in comics created specifically for tablets and other digital devices.

For some reason this makes me think that instead of scrap-booking or crafts, Natasha has started a gun collage.

 #she probably sneaks some of Bucky’s guns too #like I just see Bucky having to keep buying guns #because Natasha is scrap-booking a gun collection #and laughs about it with Steve in her spare time #and Bucky just complains to Steve like ”why do I keep losing my rifles?” #and Steve has to try to keep a straight face
